Nothing will prevent every accident or illness, but we take your pup’s health and safety very seriously.

That’s why we are fully insured, are certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and require each guest to be up to date on their vaccinations.

Our current list of required vaccines is as follows:

• Rabies

• Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

• Parvovirus

• Distemper

We also require each pet to be on a heartworm-preventative medication such as HeartGuard, Simparica Trio, etc. These preventative medicines keep your pet safe from heartworms and hookworms (which can be transmitted through feces and soil to other dogs and humans).

We highly recommend that your pet be vaccinated against Leptospirosis. It can be spread through animal urine and in stagnant water. Our yard is prone to flooding each spring, and we get wildlife after dark, making it a perfect breeding ground for the bacteria.
